The second week of August will be the date when the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup comes back to Bøeclav and Pieany. The traditional tournament of Under-18 national teams will be played in two groups of four teams, each representing one of top hockey countries. Reigning champions from Canada will defend the title in the Pieany group, Group B.
After preliminary round, both cities will host games of the knockout stage. It has yet to be the determined where the final game is going to be played as it will depend on where the Czech and Slovak national teams play their respective games.
Each of the two arenas will host a total of nine games. The day pass for Bøeclav games will cost 60 CZK.
